EAB Threat

Emerald Ash Borer confirmed in the GTA & Hamilton-Niagara Region

Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) has been positively confirmed in the municipalities of Hamilton, Halton, Peel, Toronto, York, Durham & Niagara.  EAB is a highly destructive insect that attacks and kills ash trees.  It has killed millions of ash trees in SW Ontario, Michigan and surrounding states.

Until recently, removing trees within the infected areas was the only solution to halt the EAB.  Today, TreeAzin Systemic Insecticide - a safe, effective treatment – can protect healthy ash trees and trees lightly infested with EAB.   Injected directly into the trunk of the tree, TreeAzin halts larval development and prevents adult emergence of EAB.  The Tree Specialist is an authorized service provider of TreeAzin.  For more information, contact The Tree Specialists.
